The name “Arva” means cultivated land in Latin. The Arva team found this name perfect for the plant-forward concept that we attempted through this food establishment. Our team believes in the benefits of focusing on plants rather than meat and is inspired by the creativity that comes with such an approach. Our goal is to focus on sustainability, locality, and seasonality, tailoring to you.
MEET THE CHEF
Chef Alba is a US Army Veteran that graduated from The Culinary Institute of America. She has worked in many restaurants from Napa Valley to San Sebastian, Spain, and specializes in farm-to-table cooking. She moved to Tampa to be close to family and open her own catering business! "I am highly passionate about providing food that will make you happy while maintaining sustainability and locality. I am also very passionate about eating consciously and creating menus that meet health and diet niches." -Alba
